Carolyn Molder has been painting for almost nine years. She has always loved working with her hands, but painting gives her the greatest satisfaction. A 30 year resident of Erath County, Texas, Debbie Lincoln travels the country searching for subjects for her paintings. Many, however, are found in her own backyard of Morgan Mill, Texas.

Deborah Grayson Lincoln was born in

Donna Greenstein was born in Guelph, Ontario while her father was attending the OntarioVeterinaryCollege, University of Guelph, just after WWII. When she was ten, she showed a Jersey calf at the local 4-H club shows and grew up helping out at her dad’s EtobicokeAnimalHospital. She also found time to ride and draw horses. She received a bachelor of arts degree at YorkUniversity, north of Toronto, and my B.Ed. at the University of Toronto. Her brother, Dean Middleton, is also a veterinarian.Continued


After working for several years in advertising and marketing firms in Central Florida as a graphic designer, Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson decided that punching a clock was cramping her style. To resolve this, she co-founded Nelson Creative, Inc., a communication design firm in Longwood, Florida, in 1997 with her husband Doug. Elizabeth, born and raised in New England, has lived in Central Florida for the past 15 years. Jo Lynch has always loved drawing, but did not work with it consistently until the early 90's. It began then as so many things do, with a simple watercolor class one morning a week at an old school building. It grew quickly from there to learning a real love for the medium of watercolor.

Julia Swartz, a lifetime resident of Lancaster County Pennsylvania, has always had an eye for things of beauty.Whether it was genetic, her environment, or both, she has always been interested in art, flower gardens and decorating her home. Gary Sauder grew up on a small farm in Sonoma County, California. He grew up showing registered Jersey cows in the local 4-H. Over his career, he exhibited many grand champions and was showmanship champion numerous times. During his last 4-H year, he exhibited the Grand Champion Jersey at every show he entered including the Jr. Grand National at the CowPalace and the California State Fair. Also at the same shows, he was the dairy showmanship champion as well as the Round Robin Master Showmanship Champion. Continued




Kathy McComb Swift grew up on a dairy farm in Loudoun County, Virginia close to Washington, D.C.She grew up showing registered Holstein cows. Over her career, she had a Jr. All American nomination and was a 1990 Holstein Distinguished Junior Member Finalist. In 1993, she graduated with a dairy science degree from Virginia Tech. Kent Weakley is an artist/photographer living in Florida. Laura Carey was born and raised in Ontario Canada. An only child growing up, she had a great imagination. "Not having siblings to bounce things off I fostered my natural problem solving abilities," says Laura.  "I spent my hours in my own world creating." Narrie Toole grew up on a wheat farm on the Kansas Colorado line west of Manter. She graduated from a class of 40 in high school, then attended and received a degree in Art Education from Kansas State University. Most of her adult life has involved ranching and farming. Narrie performed her ranching duties along with creating high fire reduction pottery professionally for 16 years, in her studio known as “Chicken Coop Ceramics”.  Continued





Paula Jones started painting when she turned 45, at the urging of a very good friend who was also an artist.  She was remodeling homes at the time, when a friend encouraged her to "get creative!".  Soon after, Paula went for her first art lesson.  She admits she was overwhelmed.  "I had no idea where to start - from the laying out of my paints, to the sketching and putting down color.  She (my teacher) had to hold my hand all the way through."  After that, Paula Jones artist was born.  Continued



Robert Duncan was born in Utah and began painting at age eleven. He spent summers as a boy on his grandparents' ranch in Wyoming where his grandmother gave him his first set of oil paints. It was there that he grew to love the country, the open spaces, and the rural lifestyle. Robert has painted professionally for about 25 years. He studied at the University of Utah and worked as a commercial artist before his full-time dedication to the fine art of the American West. Continued




Robert H. Saueressig graduated from the College of Visual Arts, St. Paul, MN, in 1963. After a tour in the Navy, he started a career as a graphic design artist. He continued to become an art director of several magazines and advertising agencies, in addition to being an art instructor at several local colleges. In 2000, he became a full time artist and presently paints from his southern Indiana studio. Continued








Robin Maria Pedrero began fine art studies at the age of thirteen. While growing up in Connecticut, her father would bring her home to visit family at The Neilson Farm in Dutchess County, NY. Farm work, living off the land and raising livestock are stories shared to this day. Attracted to farm lands scattered with livestock, Robin can be spotted with camera and art supplies in hand to capture scenes while traveling. Roseann began her career as a jeweler working in sterling silver and assorted beads. Roger is a fine artist and architect. They had wanted to combine their talents for many years, but could not find the right medium for his fine art and her craftsmanship.  Continued



Shannon Grissom, a California native, originally expressed her creative self through music. Moved to combine her musical affinity with her passion for color, she began oil painting in 1992. Inspired and driven, she rose early each day to paint. These painting sessions were completed before the start of her workday. This demanding schedule was worth the effort. By 1999, she was able to leave her day job to become a professional artist. She maintains her art studio in California.Continued



Valerie Murdock D'Ortona is a Ph.D.graduate of the University of Florida and a college educator, not a children’s play school art teacher, as you may have speculated. So where did these whimsical bovines, silly cats, and friendly frogs come from? In 2003, shortly after Valerie had moved back to Gainesville, Florida, her adult son recommended she take some art classes to stay out of trouble. Continued





Vicki Bates completed her education and formal art training at the University of North Alabama, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Commercial Art.  After graduation, all roads led to the photographic arts, even though her formal training was in commercial art and graphic design. Vicki contends that her training in graphic design has been an asset in all areas of her art, from commissioned portraits, photographic portraits and geometrical whimsical art.  Continued
