Jerry Gadamus is recognized internationally for the way
he achieves unbelievable detail with his airbrush. It is called "freehand
airbrushing", and is done without the aide of stencils or paintbrush. It
contributes to a painting style that personifies his acclaimed reputation as an
outdoor painter. His love of outdoor sports has taken him far and wide in the
wilderness. Each year Jerry joins his friends on a painting and photography trip
into the Western States, where they study the abundant wildlife and paint the
mountainous landscapes.
Jerry graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. His art
has appeared on the covers of countless magazines and books, including Wildlife
Art News and U.S. Art. He has won countless awards for his paintings, and his
work is a familiar sight at many wildlife fund-raising auctions.
