ACCEPTANCE OF PRIVACY POLICY

By using our site, you are accepting the practices set out in this privacy policy. Cow Art and More reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

When you visit our website, our web server recognizes your navigational information, including non-personally identifiable information (i.e. domain type, browser version, service provider and IP address), but not your email address.

We also collect information volunteered by visitors such as survey responses, website registration information, and contact and payment information (i.e. name and address, telephone number, credit card number, billing address) for the purpose of placing an order. We require visitors to create a user name and password to expedite the process of ordering online. We collect the email addresses of visitors who submit their email addresses voluntarily, either to subscribe to our email newsletter or to receive information about their order. We do NOT sell or rent our visitor or customer email addresses or make them available to other organizations for ANY purpose whatsoever.

WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION?

The navigational information we collect tells us about the use of our website by visitors, including the areas of our site that are most visited or the time of a last visit to a page on our website. The navigational information helps us better understand a visitor's experience and improve upon that experience by recognizing and delivering more of the features, services and products our visitors prefer.

Personal Information and Preferences. When you register, we ask for your e-mail address, user name, address and phone number. Once you are a registered user you can update your profile and may elect to provide additional information (e.g. company name or fax number). Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on Cow Art and More is a violation of the terms of service.

Forms and Purchases. We also use various forms for purchasing art in addition to contacting Cow Art and More. We may collect, depending on the form, your contact information (e.g., your e-mail address, mailing address and/or telephone number) and necessary financial information (i.e., your credit card number). We use the third party, Paypal merchant services, to accept and process credit card payments for purchases of art.

Special Contests or Promotions. We may occasionally present a special contest or promotion. To qualify for entry in such contest or promotion, we may ask you to provide personal information. If we use a third party service to collect that information, we will provide a statement to that effect in the contest or promotion terms.

IP Address. An Internet Protocol ("IP") address is a unique string of numbers that is assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. We will use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Site. Your IP address also may be used to gather broad demographic information.

Cookies. A "cookie" is a small data file that can be placed on your hard drive when you visit certain websites. We use cookies to collect, store and sometimes track information for statistical purposes to improve the services we provide. If you are a registered user, we will use a cookie to save your settings and to provide customizable and personalized services. These cookies do not enable third parties to access any of your personally identifiable information.

Affiliates. In order for Cow Art and More to identify potential and mutually beneficial affiliate partners, we will track the linking website you used to find specific pages on our website. This information is used to collect broad user data, in addition to allowing us to track referrals of customers to our website. Referrals of customers and purchases are recorded and tracked to referring website and not to the individual customer.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION?

Customized experience. We gather your personally identifiable information to provide you with a customized experience on Cow Art and More. Your personally identifiable information helps us tailor the content, services, goods and advertising to your current and future needs.

E-mail Communications. We do NOT send unsolicited commercial email, otherwise known as "spam." We do NOT send email marketing communications to a visitor provided email address unless the intended recipient specifically opts in to receive such communications from us. We do NOT sell or rent our visitor or customer email addresses or make them available to other organizations for marketing purposes.

Customers are added to our email list ONLY if they opt-in to such communications, either by selecting that box when registering an account, or by signing up in the box visible on our site.

You may subscribe to email communications from us through the third party email provider service, Constant Contact. You may register through Constant Contact to receive information about new features, announcements, new artists, new artwork, special promotions and discounts in your member account section. You may change preferences or unsubscribe from these emails by clicking the opt-out link at the bottom of these the email messages. Our emails may contain code that enables our database to track usage of the newsletters of the entire mailing list, including whether the e-mail was opened and/or what links (if any) were clicked. We will combine such information with other information we have about other customers and may use this information to improve your experience with our site and/or provide more customized e-mail communications to you according to your subscriber preferences. You may also receive, from time to time, automated or administrative messages relating to your account, the use of your account, and invitations to participate in surveys about your experiences at Cow Art and More even if you opt out of all email options.

Postal mail Communications. Information may be sent through the U.S. postal mail system providing information about new features, announcements, new artists, new artwork, special promotions and discounts. This information is gathered by the Cow Art and More website and via publications, public sources of mailing addresses, referrals from other customers and affiliates, and requests made through customer service. Telephone Communications. Telephone communication is only used in cases where it is needed regarding orders placed with Cow Art and More. We do NOT sell or rent our customer phone numbers or make them available to other organizations for marketing purposes.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WITH?

We will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties (aside from entities that perform services for us, such as processing credit card payments or maintaining email communications, that either are bound to comply with our privacy policy or have privacy policies that protect your information) unless you have "opted-in" to such sharing.

Our site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We assume products purchased through credit card means are purchased by adults or minors supervised by a parent or guardian.
